My Journey to become me again only better.

When I was younger I was very active and didn't even realize it. When you don't have car you either have to walk or ride a bike and that's exactly what I did. Cut to almost 20 years later and 3 kids. I'm now working from home sitting at a computer or table most of the day or night. I rarely get enough exercise to stay at my ideal weight let alone LOSE weight so, I've begun a journey to become me again only better.

  I just started taking a Zumba class and the first day was hilarious! When you haven't moved like that in 4 years the first time is a bit ridiculous. I couldn't stop laughing at myself. The second day was easier but, it still kicked my butt. I walk on the days I don't have class and hope to be able to find more time to do the things I once loved so much like going Salsa dancing with my husband. That is after all how we met and if we can't do what we once loved so much just because I can't shake it then, something is definitely wrong with this picture.

 Exercise is only half of the equation. I have gone on a diabetic low fat diet or rather lifestyle. I was originally put on this diet when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby and I lost about 2 lbs a week with only a daily walk for exercise. If I could do it then, I can do it now.   1. I love you cousin. I think you are the most amazing mom, friend, entrepenuer, etc, etc, etc. I love everything about you and all that you are!!! I love reading about your life and you constantly make me smile and want to be a better person!! Just thought you should know!!
