A writing celebration

Instead of a traditional holiday party at school my son's first grade teacher decided to have a writing celebration. Each child wrote and illustrated their own story then, parents were invited to come in and each child took their story around and read to all of the adults.
 They were all so proud and excited to read their stories. They didn't even realize that they were missing out on a day of no school work and eating tons of junk...we'll save that for next year ; )

Halloween Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak at my little Princess's Halloween costume.

She said I CAN'T wear the pink one and started to cry when I put on the blue one.

 She's hasn't quite mastered the art of sharing yet.

 We painted heart balloons on her face earlier in the day that's why they look like they're smeared.

They're not part of her costume. 

Can you guess what she's going to be? I'll give you a hint : It's the star character in her favorite movie.
