How to Make a Bottle Cap Pendant Part 1

j.c.grace Bottle Cap Pendant Kits coming soon.
Below are instructions for Making your own Bottle Cap Pendant......

These are the basic supplies you'll need to get started
 1. A 1 inch circle hole punch which can be purchased at your local craft store.
2. A piece of scrapbook paper, card stock or photo
3. A Resin epoxy sticker
4. A flattened bottle cap
Step 1. punch out your design.

Step 2. Add your resin epoxy sticker on the top of your design. Make sure you press firmly and rub all over the back to remove any air pockets.

Step 3. Add glue to the bottle cap. I usually use E-600 for longevity which, can be purchased at your local craft supply store. It has a strong smell so use in a well ventilated area and away from children. If you are doing this craft with children then I'd recommend using a non-toxic glue but the dry time will take a little longer.

This is what your bottle cap should look like. You could stop at this point and add it to a lined alligator clip or to a scrap booking page or anything else your creative mind can think of.

Step 4. Now if you want to make this into a pendant you will need a 1/8 inch metal hole punch which can be purchased at Sparkling Shamrock or you can use a nail and hammer to make a small hole but this is a much cleaner and safer version.
Step 5. Find the top of your design and try to line up the edges of your bottle cap and punch with the hole of the punch facing up.
Step 6. Add your jump ring or split ring. I'd recommend using the 9mm size. Now add it to a ball chain or pretty satin ribbon and you have a cute little pendant or craft for your next Birthday Party.
In my next tutorial I will show you how to add charms to the bottom of your design.
